If you missed our interview on WWOZ 90.7 FM early this morning, imagine this: Richard’s evocative description of the New Orleans neighborhood bar The Place to Be and Barry’s discussion of honey-voiced R&B musician Tommy Singleton—interspersed with Eskimo Boogie, scenes from Casablanca, a set of Little Freddie King tunes, and host Jamie Dell’Apa‘s gorgeous audio vérité from Donna’s Bar and Grill on Rampart Street.
